am looking for customized grilling grates, ie: with an initial, design or name

on the grate to kinda brand the steak or piece of meat I'm cooking.

Muldner,,,beleive it or not,,,your best bet is to contact a local welding shop or ornamental iron works and have one "custom made".

Even places that make ornamental iron gates/fences.

If their Shop wont do it,,,they almost always know who will,,,or have an employee who "does work on the side"

If you can't locate such a place,,,use your local yellow pages and contact some local WELDING SUPPLY companies.

They usually know EVERYBODY %26amp; who-does-what,,,,and are always happy to refer Bizness to THEIR customers.

No gaurantees such a wild goose chase will yield help with what you're looking for,,,may be a wasted effort???

But it wouldnt surprise Me if you found Exactly what ya want,,,,and prices are usually fair-enough.

Delivery-time on those kinda deals can often be 'sketchy",,,,

you'd probably have to pay a substantial initial deposit also.

Welding is a art %26amp; craft,,much as it is an industry.

They're "sculptors" in a true sense.

Lots of these guys down here along Gulf Coast do work that belongs on display,,rather than stuck in the mud on an oil rig,boat,or ranch.

And Everyone of them is a 'BBQ Pit Building Specialist"...LOL

sometimes for custom/specialty things ya gotta step outside "normal" retail channels

You're probably better off buying a brand. I've never heard of an entire grate?

I've never seen grilling grates but I know Williams Sonoma sells branding irons for grilling.
